Inspiration for my Chameleon Necklace
Chameleons appeared very early on my To Do list. In my initial research, I was absolutely bowled over by pictures of these amazing creatures and captivated by the wonderful personality that is evident in their fantastic and somewhat eccentric appearance. I particularly fell in love with a photo of a baby chameleon clinging precariously to the end of a fine leaf and was determined to capture the magic of that photo. But I was worried that a design of the chameleon on a single leaf might roll over when worn. So I started experimenting with settings to make sure that the chameleon could be admired in all of its glory. The result was this chameleon necklace.
I have since remodelled this original chameleon into a popular ring. And I have even successfully recreated the chameleon on a single leaf (without it rolling over when worn!). Even though this was one of my earliest models, my chameleon regularly steals people’s hearts when they meet him.
What my customers say:
“This necklace is of the best quality imaginable. The chameleon is so skilfully formed that it looks absolutely real and the finish of the silver is beautiful. The back is just as perfect as the front, Emma has a great eye for detail and makes sure that all of her jewellery reflects nature itself. I know that it will be a talking point whenever I wear it, it is absolutely stunning. Emma was really friendly and helpful to deal with, and I would recommend her work highly. This is an exceptional piece of silver which I am so happy to own”
